FAQ

Clear answers about the tools, privacy, ads, and accuracy.

These are the practical details people usually want before pasting data, using a calculator result, or checking a domain.

Is WorkShortcut free to use?

Yes. The public tools are free to use. Some saved workflows, such as invoices or trackers, may ask you to create an account so your records can be stored securely.

Do I need an account?

Most tools do not need an account. You only need to sign in when saving work is the point, such as managing invoices, income records, or job applications.

Is my input private?

Browser-based tools process input on your device where possible. Web and DNS tools send the domain, URL, or host you enter to our server because live public lookups cannot be completed only in the browser.

Which tools use the server?

DNS, SSL, WHOIS, headers, redirects, IP, port, CORS, and similar diagnostic tools need server-side checks. Text, image, PDF, and many calculator tools usually run in the browser.

Are calculator results guaranteed?

No. Calculators are built for quick estimates and everyday planning. Check important results before relying on them, especially for finance, tax, health, legal, or business decisions.

Is the BMI calculator medical advice?

No. BMI is a broad screening estimate. It does not measure body fat, muscle mass, pregnancy, age, or medical history. Speak with a qualified health professional for health decisions.

Are finance calculators financial advice?

No. Finance calculators help you compare numbers and understand possible outcomes. They are not financial, tax, accounting, or investment advice.

Can I use web diagnostic tools on any domain?

Use diagnostic and security tools only on websites, domains, or systems you own or have permission to test. You are responsible for how you use the results.

Why does WorkShortcut show ads?

Ads help keep the public tools free. We keep ad spaces separate from controls so they do not interfere with using the tools.

Can I reject cookies?

Yes. The cookie notice lets you accept or reject optional cookies. Essential cookies may still be used for security, sessions, and account features.

How do I report a wrong result or broken page?

Use the contact page and include the tool name, the input you used, what you expected, and what happened. Clear examples help us fix issues faster.

Can I suggest a new tool?

Yes. Good suggestions usually describe a repeated task, the input, and the output you want. Send it through the contact page.
